Smile Re: Varying load electrical noises from PSU, what part makes the noise?

Yeah, I had hoped not, but it does sound a bit like transformer noise. I'll endeavour to solve the issue. I guess I will just have to spend another 150 on a new one for the third time I guess....

Re: Shrinking Intel LGA775 heatsink sizes

It's true about motherboard temps. They're what you should focus on. It's no good having your CPU at 25 centigrade if the cost is motherboard 45 centigrade, where with stock you have 45:35 which is...

Re: Quad-core died

:(

I wouldn't use CF900. It's more suited to Conroe or Wolfdale.

Dissipation is good (due to all copper build) and silence, but it lacks thermal capacity required for powerful CPU's.

It...

Re: Enough psu to sli?

I'd rather have a single card that out performs 2 mediocre cards. Consider an 8800 Ultra (100) OC2 or Geforce 260 / 280 GTX, swapping up the CPU to something nearly as good as you can get like an...

Re: Is the 'Adobe' site down?
