remove the wires from powered speaker and one wire from the socket where the other speaker plugs in . join one wire to the powered speaker and the other to the socket ..job done .

i find the numbers on the screen are for personal reference .like my hot air gun ..i just found out it actually works very well .. set to 450 and lowest air flow ..get in there do the job and get out...

do i actually need to use the white stuff or can i just use the pcb lacquer ? as that would surely keep out damp as that's what it is for .
it crossed my mind whether it is used to hold back fire...

they appear to have been clear lacquered first then the white stuff .

i would go through all the settings then look for any other problems .
offsets and bias first . if input offsets are wrong it might cause a bit of a nuisance .

check out 7.3 in the manual and get the bias and offsets set to spec if you can then see how it is .

if its same as 300a ii . its set at 340mv across r132 . r139 should be same 340mv
r232 r234 for other channel
