If this thing was running manually before, why the change to web control? A raspberry pi has 26 GPIO pins that are programmable. Also you can cluster them.

Re: Samsung 55NU6900 - Heard a pop then tv is dead, burnt cap & dead fuse
Remove the blue cap, that is blown. Check the 2 resistors for spec value (resistors go higher in value or open), remove the mosfet and check it and keep on going until you removed all the shorted or...

Re: GNB 2100LP industrial battery charger
Redwire, nothing escapes your eye! Very good catch! Seems like the charger had problems there before.
Not sure what to think, but it seems there must be more to this charger than we see on the pic.

Re: Queen coffee CQ MN-2 Heating element
On what? The heating element or the high limit temperature trip switch? If you do get continuity on both, things are good and it should work, unless one of the on / off switches or fuse is bad.

take that 450V cap out. Then measure on those pads for short or not. You definitely need a new cap and a fuse.

Re: Queen coffee CQ MN-2 Heating element
You can test leakage of the heating element using a “megger”. Hmm… 2300W on 240V… that hing will actually brew something! Check the tripp switch first.

Just this one is bi-directional, since the band on on side of the diode is missing.

Re: Samsung UN55ES7003 has blown fuse on TCON and short to ground.
If you do use voltage injection, just remember that you do not inject more voltage than that voltage rail you in jest into can handle. So for example a 3.3V rail, make sure you don’t exceed 3.3V. The...

Re: Sony Bravia 50w808C - Gliched screen!
To me it looks like the LCD has suffered some damage on the lower left. Check the tab bonds if someone “washed” the screen and also check the little LCD driver boards. You have to check voltages like...

Are the backlights turning off? Turn the backlights down to 50% and see if they stay on longer.
My bet is that the backlight setting is 100%.
