haven't had to do it myself but have seen some have success by trimming a little off the end of the cables.

Maybe diff can hook you up with that 20 Pound nand chip, took a quick look only saw one for 33.

If you sort it out turn OFF auto updates because there's something fishy about a LOT of samsung updates screwing tv's up, big time.

Just saw Mr. Barton's suggestion, good call, I would try that first, could work if it was just a bad update and the nand isn't faulty.

Could be that the updates are messing up the nand chips or nand chips could just be junk. The fix isn't easy. Looks like the options are a replacement mainboard, possibly taking out nand chip and...

Maybe build a simple dim bulb tester to use, (many examples on youtube) so you are not blowing up fuses and components, replace CM806 and check the surrounding components, really hard to tell what...

Look the solder joints over on the powerboard real closely, see if you have any bad/cold joints. As always be VERY CAREFUL when dealing with the DEADLY/HOT side of the board.

Being a vizio, mainboard is probably the issue, at 10 bux I'd go for it, see what happens.

Looks like you made an error or the board is miss-labeled, "Pin 3 = NC - 3.24V" if that pin is NC which means not connected then it should not have 3.24 volts on it.

Post some clear straight on pictures of each board and one of the whole back as to see how they are all connected.

Try heating the electrolytic capacitors on the powerboard with a hairdryer, see if the voltages stabilize if only for a bit.

Sounds like a loose connection in the back lights, most likely why it works only sometimes, lots of times a tap on the tv here and there (NOT ON THE SCREEN) will temporarily make the connection and...
