Check the resistance of the ccfl transormers. Three of them are the same and the bottom one is slightly different windings resistance. Check the high voltage blue caps on the right of the BN44-00264...

A small point but the output lead from the power supply feeding the leds you will find that the red wire on Vestel TV's are -ve and the black wire is +ve!
I don't know why Vestel did this but...

Your issue with your TV will be one of three things in order I suspect the issue is with your TV. The screen, the main board or the tcon.

Tivoli Music System+ no backlight on display resolved

Just had a Tivoli Music System+ without any led backlight display it turned out to be a variable 100k pot had gone open circuit on the variable leg on the pot!

Indeed the AS15X replace this one. If you find a RM5101 they are far more expensive than the AS15x range. The RM5101 are far more reliable than the AS15X ics though I have found.

Not heard of www.ebay.co.uk ?? There are plenty of mainboards there at reasonable prices. You will unlikely get any firmware for this model as I doubt if Veltech TV's are supported by anyone online...

I bet the fuse should have been a slow blow fuse and your fuse you put in it was a fast blow fuse. Which is why it blew straight away!
