    Repairing a Dell H535T Motherboard

I need to repair a dell motherboard, that has two caps bulging on top.

The caps are near the first cpu/memory banks and the model is:
    SANYO 1500uf 6.3V - 105º S.E. 99 WF

I'm not finding the same model, can you give some advise another cap to replace them?

The S.E. 99 has any special meaning?

In case I can't find a good replacement, can I change them for example for 2200uf 16V - 105º, or is a very bad idea?

    Thanks!

Re: Repairing a Dell H535T Motherboard

I have the ones you need but I don't have the ones I need. I always try to put the same capacity ones but think theoretically you can put higher capacity at the input of the VRM. At the output not really sure. I know main parameter of a buck converter is the inductor (choke) for ripple current as in here http://www.daycounter.com/LabBook/Bu...quations.phtml now capacitors resist change in voltage. AFAIK if you put them higher resistance to voltage change should be higher. But then IDK if you are dealing with a buck converter. Likely but not sure.

Dell Optiplex 3060 Micro USFF (IPCFL-CG Motherboard) - No LED / Short Circuit
        by thinkcentre
        Hello,

this is my first post at Badcaps and in general i am new to fixing electronics. I am looking forward to learn a bit more about diagnosing and repairing :-)

What I have around is a DELL OPTIPLEX 3060 Micro (USFF), which is not powering on, even not showing any signs of life (No amber / white LED).
I got a original 65W DELL PSU / Power brick (PA-12 / 074VT4) which hopefull should be the correct one. I could get another DELL PSU with the Partnumber 0G6J41 with the same 4.9mm DC Jack connector as the one I already have, but I dont think that would help (maybe...

9th Gen Dell Optiplex Micro PC motherboard repair: Short Circuit?
        by Geeker007
Hi All, I have a 9th Gen Dell Optiplex micro PC motherboard which doesn't power on. When I connect the motherboard with power adapter, it goes into safe mode and turns off. So from info I have gathered online, it looks like there is a short circuit on the motherboard. So can you guys help me with figuring out the issue?

I am new to electronics repair, so my queries could be naive but I am ready to learn.

So I have a multimeter and a solder with me. But I can try to get a variable voltage power supply with a thermal camera as well. From what I seen online, best way is...

Dell Latitude 5350 Ultra 7 Motherboard
        by Julian Bailey
        Hi

I have a Dell Latitude 5350 Ultra 7 Motherboard I am trying to repair that has a blown chip.

The chip is marked as eHOLH similar to the one I have pictured.

Any ideas what it does and what the pin outs are as 3 tracks have gone and need to find out what / where they went / did etc.

Dell PN of the motherboard is 08DCGW.

Below is the area I am trying to repair:

Does anyone have a picture of this motherboard in this area they could take and upload?

        Cheers...

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?
        by Bowline
My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...
