by Cmat2lHello everyone!
I dropped a hair dryer in the water after using it. I pulled it out fast but it was still hot, plugged in the mains and switched off. Still in warranty but the shop I bought it is in another country. The local repair shops asked 50-60 eur for repair. The dryer cost 60 so I was thinking maybe there is smthng I could do to fix it my self. I took it apart but I reached the point that I cant understand what the problem might be. I dont have electronics knowledge. Just some basic electrical.

by CapLeakerMy Bosch NEXXT 500 dryer quit today, press start nothing happens and the start button just keeps blinking. Not cool. Reset the dryer, same thing.
Even so the buttons feel good, my problem was the start button smd tactile switch on the PCB. Cleaned the switch with alcohol followed with Deoxit and the sucker runs like a champ again.

by notallbadJust wondering if anyone has successfully attempted a re-gas on a heat pump tumble dryer.
The dryer currently in question runs on R134a.
The dryer has been completely stripped down/cleaned/tested and re-assembled however there is no heating/cooling effect so working on the assumption it requires re-gassing. Of course, its likely theres a leak which would require soldering or even the possibility that the compressor has an internal fault even though it is running.

by Sam ScarboHello,
I'm helping my brother to fix his Blomberg laundry dryer. He called a repair guy to have a look and the repair guy said the control board is faulty. They said the replacement board costs $400. Too expensive! 😨 My brother asks me to take a look. He has checked the door switch and thermal fuse, etc., and those seems fine.
After plugged to mains, there is no display. There is just a clicking sound from the buzzer, like one click per second. No other response.
I suspect the firmware inside the MCU (ATMEGA64A) got corrupted. Can someone in this forum by any chance provide...3 Photos -
by fadi90Hi everyone,
I'm working on repairing a Pilz PNOZ X4 safety relay module. When I opened it up, I found some of the connector pins detached from their pads. I replaced the connector with individual wires, but the issue remains.
The module is set to dual-channel mode with manual start. In this mode:- Y36-Y37 and Y1-Y2 are bridged.
- 24VDC is applied across A1-A2.
- It monitors two emergency circuits (S11→S12 and S11→S52).
- When both are closed (24V present on S12 and S52) and the start button is pressed (S33 connected to S34), the NO contacts (13-14, 23-24, 33-34)
