    Component with H Marking

    Dear Forum Members,

    I have a mainboard LA-6751P belonging to Lenovo G470.
It contains a component called PH902 in the schematics:
    component name: PH902
    component specs: 10K_0402_5% ERTJ0ER103J
What is this component? what are its properties?
Is there any reference to study?
It looks like a resistor but I do not know what are its differences compared to a resistor.

    Thanks

Just do a google search for the part number. Its a thermistor https://industrial.panasonic.com/ww/...ls/ERTJ0ER103J

        thank you
Is it right to solder a 10-KOhm resistor instead of PH902 in the circuit of the picture?
How can I measure specs of a thermistor from a donor board without schematics and boardview?

i think, that thermistor is there for "heat-security" purposes. as i know, the value will change depend on surrounding temperature

what does happen to the +VGFX_Core voltage if I do not solder anything on PH902?
            what is your recommendation?

Do a google search you`ll see the same part on quite a few compal boards.Search "10K_0402_5% ERTJ0ER103J" without the quotes "" . What donor boards do you have, search through your schematics for it.

                I have got an idea:
I solder a 10-KOhm resistor in place of PH902. Then, according to the datasheet of Post#3, it means the temperature is always low. Then, the controller thinks the temperature is fine.

is this a good idea for this circuit?
