Hi, I'm a male Brit, based in the North of England, married with 2 kids. I work in graphics & marketing. I'm reasonably computer-savvy, probably more so than the average person, having built a PC and fixed many other PCs & Macs, but am well aware of my limitations.

In fact I found and joined this forum because of a specific problem that I have, which has defeated all my efforts & Googling.

I like tinkering, fixing & repurposing things. So with the help of online information I've messed about with computers, raspberry Pis, O2 Jogglers, as well as cars and analogue cameras. I wish my soldering skills were better!

            Hello,

Looking into the possibility of working on systems and being able to do component level repair. I have replaced caps (and other components) of many random types of gear from displays/tvs, to consoles, to arcade cabs. Also used to do soldering when installing audio gear many years ago. Right now just going though looking for useful board views and schematics that interest me.

This Forum looks like a great place

Hi! Got into component-level tinkering via open platforms like the Beaglebone, and now I'm hoping to learn more about the history of various hardware, especially PowerPC-era systems from Apple.

I registered on the forum because I saw that there were technical discussions around very interesting amateur radio equipment. I spend a lot of time repairing amateur radio transceivers and this will allow me to exchange experiences. 73's SEB

                                Hello there,

Name's Kajetan, I'm an electronic engineering student and have been into electronics for over a decade now. I gathered some monitors to aid me in remote studying (which sucks btw, but that's what we've got to deal with now) and it's time to get them fixed. Some are perfectly fine after a simple capacitor replacement, but now I'm fighting with some more difficult electronics issues on some Dell monitors and there I am, to learn and make use of the schematics uploaded

Thanks for maintaining this forum, these schematics don't seem to be available anywhere else!

Hi everyone - stumbled across this place as I have a few laptops that need a bios password removal / reset, and this seems to be the golden source of info! Also have an old Sonos which has a dodgy capacitor somewhere, so keen to see if there's any schematics or anyone has had a crack at those in the past.
