    LG 34UC87C-B X3 Firmware Dumps all EEPROMS

    Don't know if this helps anyone but have just dumped all firmware for the LG 34UC87C-B, moreover has anyone already dumped the firmware for this wide monitor and if so can they check if its valid, the one i'm working on has no standby but all checkable components check out okay.

    Have zipped and uploaded all three pieces of firmware.

    PCB = EAX65923705 Rev 1.0

    IC205 MX25L8006E
    IC901 25X40CL
    IC102 24C02RP

    If not i hope it may help someone.

    Quick question does the Firmware that is linked in that Post (for the 34UC97C-B) also work on the
    34UC87C-B or does it need a specific one (looking for IC205 FW)?

    Thanks!

        Re: Eeprom dump thread!

        In case someone is looking for a firmware for the LG 34UC87C-B which is bricked (no standby at all, appears completely dead), here is a dump from a know working one for IC205, which usually causes this behavior.

        PCB = LM43A | 34UC97C | EAX65923705 Rev 1.0

        IC205 MX25L8006E

        Other EEPROM ICs on board:
        • IC901 25X40CL
        • IC102 24C02RP

        Hope this helps someone!

            Thank you omladinacm for providing the EEPROM.

            I flashed the IC205 of my LG 34UC87-B (pay attention: not 34UC87*C*-B) and it's working again. The only downside is that now Thunderbolt is gone (as far as I known that's the only difference between 34UC87C-B and 34UC87-B)...

            Not a big deal, as I'm not a Mac user and do not need the Thunderbolt - but of 'cause it also would be nice to get back to "original" condition. I'm afraid no one has a dump for 34UC87-B?

            Regards
            ZwoCa

              Was not able to fix my screen, but here the dump from my 34UC87-B.
              IC205 if someone needs it.

                Helped me recover my monitor. Re-flashed via ICSP using XGecu T56. Many thanks.
