    Heres a fun one. 630w dual bulb Ceramic Metal Halide Transformer

    Hey guys!! Im new here and found you just though lots of google searching.

    I found out this is a transformer but I was hoping someone here could give more information. I think its the part thats bad, the fixture is only lighting 1 lamp and youll see from the pictures there is some black on the glue.

    Speaking of glue... Any best practices for how to remove it?

        Go to advanced mode, then click on "Manage Attachments".

          I attached your photo to the OP.
          It looks to me like a component near the transformer has exploded.
          Maybe that resistor but it is not really visible in your picture.

            I would also check that green component, it might be a mov that exploded. The transformer is likely ok.
