          Re: Remove_SMM... UEFI.

I bought from one man once a service to remove the password and then I checked in UEFITool has been changed exactly. He adds the Fingerprint driver with an error from what I read from this airman and he generates this key (I think so, at least) but I have no idea where to get the generator from. I can get HWID in several models, but it stops.

You need use UEFItool or Phoenixtool, then find lenovotranslateservice and replace pe32 body.

I found it some time ago but I can't get the algorithm out of it or rewrite it.

                      Re: Remove_SMM... UEFI.

Anyone had success in doing this themselves? I've got a T460 that owner no longer remembers what they set I am guessing if I inject Allservice DXE into the dumped bios eeprom image into the right spot then upload this back to eeprom will allow it to be executed next turn on. Then its a matter of getting the correct value for the HW ID.

If you have 9 digit hardware ID, I can generate key, but i do not know how to generate key for 7 digit hardware ID

If you have a generator, share it. When turned on, my t440 generates a different HWID

Sorry, but wrong hardware ID, you should power cycle laptop.
                                  And then try my keygen.

                                          Hello guys!
I have an X250 locked with supervisor password.

Do you think the DXE drivers found on this thread would work on my machine?

                                          Right now I'm testing them.

I replaced the PE32 image from LenovoTranslateService with the image on the first page, not the one named 2E and it booted exactly like before.

It throws the error 0199 system security - security password retry count exceeded and then it asks me for the supervisor password and I can't acces the BIOS.

Did you managed to inject the allservice DXE drivers and get them to show up on the boot-up screen, asking then for the HW id password?
