    Anyone recognize this power supply?

    Its 13.8v and unknown amps, 100?
    There is no name and it has 5 identical modules in it.

    Dont know where else to ask.

    It could be a forklift battery charger would be a good guess

    But very old model is my guess

    I would test each module by it self just make sure pay attention to how it is hook each other

    I would expect that to start the charging cycle you probably have at least a minimum of 8 to 10 for it to start charging would be my guess

    These two repairs where found with a ESR meter...> Temp at 50*F then at 90*F the ESR reading more than 10%

    1 Over Head Crane Current Sensing Board ( VFD Failure Five Years Later )
    2 Hem Saw Computer Stack Board

    All of these had CAPs POOF
    All of the mosfet that are taken out by bad caps

      not a forklift, the cells are in series - 48v or higher.
      it could be an early solid-state charger for garages though.

          Naw... doesn't have big enough filter caps. Looks like it used to run a lot and someone knew how to fix it (a lot). The screw holes are worn, extra grounding lug...

          My guess, a commercial PSU, ran something in some sort of an transmitter site. Second thought: An shore charger for the battery bank on a boat?

              I think I saw a 1989 date code on that silver-colored 85C 1000uF made by El Cap.
