Hp elitebook 820 g3 component identification

Hello,

I'm here to ask your help about a laptop repair, 6050a2725001-mb-a01. From what I could see, there was liquid damage. As you can see from the pictures, there is a whole power line burned because of a short in liquid.

I assume that the IC that burned is a DCDC converter. When I googled the reference, there are no results. I find several circuits of the same composition on the motherboard but with different reference as on the images. I also removed one of the intact IC and the burned IC to better see the original condition.

From what I could read on the DCDC converters IC :

The burned one is : alvf 873
The other two : akvf 585 and apaf 580

I unfortunately didn't find a boarview or schematic for this board. What I would like to know is what is the reference of this circuit in order to replace it.

You are welcome. Learned from SMDFlea about the underside pattern of the devices so had a good lead that it is from MPS.

Also, MPS uses a signature horizontal bar on the topside markings.

Then searched in Google for 'MPS regulator ALV' and had a hit for the documentation. Repeat for the rest.

There is a sticky thread above that offers many of the SMD markings for MPS and other vendors. Sometimes, the semiconductor will offer exclusive devices to the clients (ie. TI has the CD3215 / CD3217 and more; Renesas / Intersil has the ISL9239 / ISL9240 for macbooks and so on). For such cases, the device pix are very important and often can find them for sale on Aliexpress. Do not hold your breath for the PDF datasheets for such exclusive devices but we can learn from the available partial schematics.
