TV Plasma LG 60PN5000 ZSUS 15v missing
All Voltages are OK except ZSUS 15v.
YSUS board disconnected still 15v missing.
ZSUS was replaced: 15v missing.
Any help will be appreciatedTags: None -
Re: TV Plasma LG 60PN5000 ZSUS 15v missing
15V is produced by Y-SUS, so follow the traces on that 15V pin and see where it leads.
Never power up a plasma with loosened or missing screws on any sustain boards. -

3ohm R251 Open, Replaced.
Now I have 15v but fluctuating to 16v and 15v and a metallic sound like tin, tin tin. All other voltages fluctuating a little bit but in range.Comment

There is not green light on the control board and the TV red light is blinkingComment

Re: TV Plasma LG 60PN5000 ZSUS 15v missing
Further inspection on y-sus is required, test every IGBT and gate drivers for shorts, big resistors (those green ones) cannot be open.
The inductors on Z and Y buzz when working, but it's at a low frequency.Comment

Re: TV Plasma LG 60PN5000 ZSUS 15v missing
D603 shorted
After replace D603 TV works well but instead of measuring 15v it measures 17.8vComment

Re: TV Plasma LG 60PN5000 ZSUS 15v missing
If memory serves correct the 15V on LG plasmas is almost always close to 17V, so 17.8 is a small offset from the norm, no need to worry if nothing is overheating and the picture is fine. Is D603 at Y-SUS?Comment

by PlasMattI have an LG plasma that after reading through a bunch of posts and doing some testing I believe has a bad YSUS board. The problem is that that doesn't make sense to me for some of the symptoms. The problem started yesterday. While watching a movie the TV just shut down like I pressed power. I have it hooked to a PC and use RS232 to turn it off and on so I thought maybe something had glitched there. I turned it back on and finished the movie with no problems. The same thing happened today so I checked logs to see if something in the control glitched and sent an off command but it didn't, After...

by Salvatore057Hi all,
I am trying to fix my plasma TV which is not powering on due to damaged IGBTs. I have changed two igbts and 2 IC drivers on the zsus and also two igbts on the ysus.
Now everytime I plugged the ZSUS and the YSUS boards to the power board, the two 30f124 IGBT on the ZSUS are damaged and the TV stays in standby mode. When I plug the ZSUS board alone the TV turns ON but I do not see pictures. When I plug the ZSUS board without the two 30f124 IGBTs and the YSUS board, the TV powers on with a picture.
I am lost, should I change the YSUS board? Is the YSUS board damaging... -
by ugamazingBoard had no history of liquid; unsure of drop history, but no signs of damage of any kind worth noting.
Charger sitting at 5v/0a. PPBUS is at 1.9v-0.9v steady cycle (peaks, drains, loops). Confirmed CHGR_EN_MVR is missing, but DCIN was reaching ISL just fine, so replaced ISL--no change at all. Confirmed pp3v8_aon is also missing--and being unsure *exactly* which signal appears first (or if they are simultaneous), I inspected PMU/U8100 area and found no shorts, but also found PP3V8_AON_MPMU_ISNS_VIN missing (not shorted). Replaced U8100 just in case (have had them fail in weird ways),... -
by jprezaHi everyone,
I recently acquired this card from a seller who was selling a PowerMac G5 for parts. He mentioned that the video card was probably broken too.
Upon closer inspection, I can tell the reason why it won't work: it's missing a bunch of CAPS! (it's also missing an inductor - 1.0uH).
It's a nice card as it's one of the few AGP cards that will support 2560 x 1600 resolution on a PowerMac G5 using a 30" Cinema Display.
Looking at the card, it appears to be missing the following:
1x 1.0uH inductor - orange square

by gurj1979Hey guys.
Need help with this one.
Fan not spinning due to missing PWN Fan signal.
Also 5 seconds from powering up it freezes, unless in BIOS.
But as soon as Windows starts to load, it will freeze.
CPU is COLD / Room temp when it freezes.
I've replaced the CPU, same problem.
Replaced SIO/KBC IT8987e and reprogrammed - same problem.
Replaced fan - same problem.
Replaced flex cable from board to daughterboard (which has fan connector on it) - same problem.
Checked the Thermal sensors around CPU and Board to the SIO/KBC and...08-19-2024, 05:22 PM - Loading...
