Asus Rampage V Extreme X99 Error 53

Hi guys I have the above Asus Rampage V Extreme X99 motherboard

that's stuck on error 53 with or without ram installed.

ive checked the CPU socket no damage ive inspected the board and can't see any damage.


but no matter what I do it won't work.

it just goes to error 53 and never changes.

sometimes it will give an error code of 00 but a majority of the time it just shows error 53.

ive tested my ram and CPU in another X99 board and they are working with no issues.

could it be the board has died somehow ???

its like brand new to look at as I always keep it clean and dust free.

it has the following CPU i7 5960X 32GB DDR4 2666Mhz Corsair Ram CMK32GX4M4A2666C15



ive done a bios flashback 7 times on both bios chips with no change in fact if I use bios chip 2 it just gets stuck on debug code 00

53 is ram error, usually it means the signal from Pch to ram slot not there..... not for novices. But u can try your luck cleaning it.

well ive got it to work finally as bios chip 1 is dead

but not all the ram slots work
