    Surface pro 4 backlight issue

    Hello all,
a dead surface pro 4 arrived at my place some days ago.
It had a blown fuse (0ohm Resistor) and i replaced it.
After resistor replacement, i connected the display and checked the device and the device turned on. i just unplugged the power at surface logo and assembled the device back.
After that, i turned on the device again but no backlight at all. The LED Driver IC - MP3388s Vin is 0.35v before power on and 1.5v after turn on but still not enough to turn on the LEDs i think, as the driver ic needs 4.5V+. I see some spikes from 1.5V to 4V some times but still nothing.
Also, i found that the battery schottky diode was blown aswell and i replaced it.
Seems like a failed MP3388s. no?
    Any idea?

    Thank you

Re: Surface pro 4 backlight issue

Back to my own post, i just removed the MP3388S and the voltage on Vin came back to 8.5V. So it seems that the Driver ic failed. Waiting for the new one to replace it.
