Dell Inspiron 3552 5 beeps

Hi, i have a Dell Inspiron 3552 which when starts makes 5 sound beeps. I saw that the reason makes 5 beeps is CMOS battery. I changed the battery but the laptop other times no power on, no display. Other times starts normally. When i unplug the battery all fine except the 5 beeps (even if login to windows). is there any way to disable the beeps sound??

i already tried bios update with same results.

See if there's any corrision / desoldered coponents !
take your time for visual inspection

Are you getting loss of date/time each time power is removed? If so, then you battery socket maybe corroded from a leaky battery. Also measure the battery while it's in circuit (under load). I've seen some measure 3V drop to 0.2V when installed.

Yes, without battery i loss time and date. With new battery voltage is ok 3v without loose time or date but the laptop not starts everytime. visual inspection shows everything nice and solid. My question is if is there any way to disable beeps. (Windows 10 offers auto synchronize time). But 5 beeps are annoying. It beeps continuously even if log in to windows.

@polism, yes there is a way to disable beep. You need to share mb code and audio IC number here. Then you need to cut track of PC_BEEP. Common issue with dell.

I face this issue with dell 5040 ; MB =DV15 MLK MB 11280-1.
So how to cut this track ..thank you

@lapfix, go to page 29 of attached schematic. Cut the track of PIN10 of audio IC. Thats it. You will no more have any sort of beep.

Impossible. Is the audio ic same as per schematics?? I doubt its not. If its not same, give audio ic information

My doubt is correct. Just had a relook at the schematic you attached. Its for 10316-1 and not 11280-1(Foolish on my part not to check). So bridge the pin10 again and give me audio codec ic marking.

Cut track of Pin29 and there will be no more beeps. 100% sure.

I'm attaching the schematic. Go through the audio section. Pin29 is correct to cut and there will be audio on speakers after that. I personally tested it on this mb as i had one in stock with me. Was there audio on speakers before?? Did you bridged the pin 10??
