Lenovo T430 doesn't power on with battery

    Hello
I have a Lenovo t430 that charges the battery, works fine with adapter BUT doesn't work with battery only.
Tried 3 batteries (that work fine in other Lenovo t430) and 2 chargers so i guess i have problem in motherboard.
I strip off the whole laptop and now i have the motherboard with heatsink in bench ready for repair.
I have power in F12 (11,5v) but after that it gets a little complicated for me (page 73 has the whole battery input circuit)
    Schematic attached
    Thank you in advance!

    Check pin 3/4 data clk 3.3V , what Voltage you get L5 Coil? U7 pin 6 7 8 5 15 Voltage with battery insert ?

What i don't understand is the "Check pin 3/4 data clk 3.3V"
You want to check pin3 and pin 4 on battery connector?
Also what is the data clk 3.3v?
L5 has 0v in both pins
          U7 has 0v in pins 5 6 7 8 15
All measurements with battery only, fully charged.

Is battery percentage reported correctly under Windows?

                Q8 has
                pin1: 11.6
                pin2: 11.6
                pin3: 11.6
                pin4: 0v
                pin5: 11.6
                pin6: 11.6
                pin7: 11.6
                pin8: 11.6

                I also measure the Q 34 and i got:
                pin1:10,7
                pin2: 11,2
                pin3: 11,2
                pin4: 11,2
                pin5: 0
                pin6: 0
                pin7: 0
                pin8: 0

Pin 3/4 of battery connector are data/clock pins which is part of smbus and is connected to kbc/sio chip. Btw, i think they are fine as battery is charging correctly.

Re: Lenovo T430 doesn't power on with battery

Actually pin 3 and 4 have no voltage at all.0v.
i repeat all measurements with battery only.

I think i found the problem.
The F9 fuse is blown, now the question is why blowned
Also i see that the P/N is ERBRD0R50X how many mA is this?

                              I have some thread 0.5A @ 220V
                              May i use this?

yes but its risky if anything is wrong in the circuit. Make sure to measure resistance on both ends of the fuse.

Yes i already did it, no shortcircuit to the ground so i applied some 500mA thread over the fuse and everything worked like a charm.
Charges battery, working with battery and with charger.
Thank you all for you help, i own beer when you visit Greece!!!
