Dell 2408: standby mode, orange light

    Hello Everyone,

Last week, my Dell 2408 stopped to working. Now the only sign is turned orange led light. Pressing on it and any other buttons doesn't change anything. There isn't also any picture on the screen.
It happened several times lately and solution was to unplug the power cable.
Additionaly, when I turned the monitor on after e.g. whole night, there was one vertical line in the middle of screen, which disappered after 2-3 minutes.

    What I have alredy done:
I changed the capacitors (8 in total) and KA431 on the middle PCB but without any results.
I based on other topics here, however I couldn't find similar issue to this one.
I hope it is not related with BGA chip soldering and still can be repaired.

    My equipment:
Soldering station 936DH and simple multimeter

Yesterday I heated up heatsink on the second motherboard and monitor turned on. After cooling it down, it came to the previous status.
So unfortunately, BGA chip is somehow broken.

Maybe I will follow the workaround described here: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showpo...5&postcount=76
