Knowledge seeker here with a couple questions. Looks like my 820-2915-B motherboard's u7000 chip needs replaced on my Late 2011 Macbook Pro 15". (Green light and my battery does not charge).
My chip lists three rows of info. I've found sources online matching the first two rows.
i625
9AHRTZ
F130TK
1. What does the indo on the third row represent? Must it be identical?
2. Can I use a U7000 I find online or must I find a donor board?
3. Does Apple use the identical U7000 on many different Macbook Pros? My guess is Apple would since it seems to be a "standard" part.
4. If I need a donor board, how can I discover which boards match the chip I need? i.e. year & model / motherboard #(820-xxx-x)
Thanks in advance.
