    E228WFPc - purple tint

I just got Dell 22" monitor and it has strange purple tint - when I hit factory reset, it shows correct colors for second and then back to purple tinted image. Its not too bad, but normal colors are much better. It mostly visible on black screen, when PC starts up, etc. I thought it could bad/aging bulb, but why it shows correct colors right after reset? Powering on/off not gives that effect, only reset procedure.
    Caps and all looks good.
Second pic was taken during reset procedure

Hi, from my experience with the laptops purple tint usually is a symptom of dying bulb, in most cases I've seen after like 1min it goes back to normal, factory reset might trigger higher voltages on the inverter, max brightness for example.

      have you opened it yet?
those dell's have a lot of problems with bad caps on the psu/invertor board.

When I turn it on with panel (T-Con?) unplugged, screen is bright white, more on gray/bluish side, no purple/pink tint at all.
I did opened it and all caps looks good.
