    Haier 49UF2500

This set has no BL. I can see the display using a flashlight. There is no audio because I can't tell what input it is on. My question is there is 247v on the connector going to the back lights. That seems very high. Could the LEDS be open? Using a SJ Led tester, it stays on 333v also and no backlights. Does anyone know what is used in this set for LEDs?

You will get a lot more help if you upload good clear pictures of the whole backside of the TV showing all the boards so we see what we are dealing with.

With the back light voltage from the PS high and also with the SJ back light tester, I figured a open led strip. And after dis-assembly, I did find one of the strips open. I'm waiting on a replacement strip.

Just repaired a 55UFC2500. Curved but panel is actually flat and flexed to fit in the curved chassis. Had one LED open. You need to keep the picture mode to Energy Saving (50%). Vivid is 100% and will burn out the backlights. Backlight can be set in service menu under panel settings (menu-1-1-4-7) with tv on. I find Energy Saving a little low so set to 65 which is saved in User mode. Need to do this on all inputs.
