Dear All,
Been trying to diagnose a no power issue from this low cost power supply.
It is a 265W maximum output power smps with +12v output at 17A at rail A and 9A at rail B, +5v at 13A and +3.3v at 10A.
Found that the 16 pin PWM did not work as expected. When i probe my red DMM positive to the 16 pin pwm (CM6800TX) pin 13(VCC) and black probe to pin 10 (ground) I got a negative reading. I suspect the pwm is faulty.
In the past, I noticed many low cost smps are using 16 pin KA7500 as pwm and i wonder if this can be substituted to replace the faulty CM6800TX.
Hope someone with this kind of experience can kindly guide and share your thoughts,
I am attaching both the CM6800 and KA7500 datasheet for reference as I cannot understand fully by reading those datasheet. Thanking in advance.
