I don't like Dallas but that should have been ruled a catch, 3 steps then right forearm down before hitting ground, but they are playing in Green Bay and the NFL does have a say so on who would make a better storyline. Why wasn't Green Bays catch that hit the ground earlier ruled incomplete after replays clearly showed it, even announcers thought incomplete, NFL said so is why.

Totally agree. He maintained possession, so it should have been down at the 6 inch line like the original call said.

And then did you notice after the "delay of game" penalty on Cobb (which should have been unsporstman like conduct), they didn't even apply the penalty to the next play, it was still 1st and 10.

Re: Help with Motor Control Board

Correct info and measurement are really important, otherwise I cannot verify the circuit function.
So the circuit is connected as I suspected.
Check the DC voltage between Source pin and the Gate.

Re: Help with Motor Control Board

Does the board need to be put back and powered up for this? With it disconnected I get 0v from source to gate. I tried both red to source and black to gate then black to source and red to gate.

Re: Help with Motor Control Board

Ok I just put it back together and installed on board, put the red alligator clip on source and black on gate and there is no voltage to it powered on either.

OK, the relay still clicks on?
At this point I believe the Gate drive signal is not present so it can be relate to that STI chip or I hope it is not the safety lockout.
Need to trace the Gate connection to see where it goes to.

Check the Voltage between VDD pin and GND, be real careful, you are working in the primary deadly side, do not let the probe slip on you.

OK I traced the gate leg. It goes to a 3 legged 100v capacitor. Then from one leg of the capacitor to the small 562 chip and the other leg to the 2 middle legs of the 8 legged chip (TC1410 NCOA 833AN). From the small 562 chip it goes to the 3rd bottom leg of the 8 leg chip, leg then to R19 Resistor. The left bottom leg of the 8 leg chip then goes to DZ3 which then goes back and connect to the source of the mossfet.

Ok you said to check VDD and GND, on the link you provided is shows pins 1 and 8 both VDD and 4 and 5 GND. Do I check red to pin 1 and black to pin 4 or pin 1 and pin 8? And I assume check with with meter on AC not DC?

The VDD pins are tied together internally, same for the GND pins. Meter set to DC.

Can you provide the pictures of the motor and the label on the motor itself, from the way the circuit is it cannot be rated at 24VDC, more likely to be 130VDC or higher since the power supply is 160VDC and the size of the wires are way too small to handle the current if it runs on 24VDC.

Perhaps thats one reason I couldnt see how the voltage was reduced to 24v

                                        It isnt !!!!!!

Edit and off topic a little- that is actually qute encouraging- when I get to mine at least it seems the motor might test out with 24v it is a 180vdc one, wasnt sure how I would get anywhere near that to test it.
