    Siemens Analog Module

    It's a device which controls the precitec head distance on a laser machine, thing just stands there bouncing up and down, does not settle for the ca 1mm or so supposed distance...

    Might be cap related, but what are the blue caps in the back? I.e. what can I replace them with? They aren't OS-Con right?

    This are usuall low ESR Al-EL caps from BC components AKA Philips. I duno how low their ESR is, but i doubth that they are Ultra low esr. May be you will find some datasheet at their site.

        No, I don't think it uses a firmware... A new one is on the way but might aswell try to fix this one too so we have a spare...
