    Help identifying motherboard capacitors

    Hi Forum!

My laptop recently started smelling bad, stopped working.
Further inspection I found a capacitor that turned black.
I hope that just replacing the capacitor will bring it back to life, but I am not able to find any information about these capacitor.
    Its written R24 651 PC3.
Anyone know what these parts are and where I can buy a replacement part for this?

    Thanks everyone!

      .24 microhenry?

If that inductor has a problem, it is likely that something is shorted or drawing too much current.

Power Supplies should be boring: No loud noises, no bright flashes, and no bad smells.

        idk you tell me?
Its a older laptop that was running well before. I agree that if that inductor got smoked, then something else probably went horribly wrong and I can discard the laptop...
