I find myself getting stuck at this stage and is easily the most frustrating part of a repair exercise, after repairing a GPU its hard to tell whether the BIOS is not correct or if the card has a faulty GPU CHIP?
Is there a way to tell which is the correct bios without having to rely on being able to pull an original BIOS from a card? for example Mining cards with bios flashed?
Perhaps a way to match up by using a serial number?
Because Ive had times where Ive flashed a bios for the same brand, model, edition and ram chip brand, but still wont work? sometimes it might just work enough but the only thing ive noticed is that GPUZ will come up with only partial information for example VRAM at 0 or shaders are not showing up. Sensor data will always be out of whack. etc
please share your experiences.
