with uefitool found it in GUID: F66687FF-8CF3-4A19-B4AC-F5F0B78E4D18
then used hexeditor to copy from a clean .bin i had.

I have a hp 820 g3 it has locked bios.
i try reading with ch341a and make a bad bios backup and write new bios but it dont work and i brick it.
Can someone send me a bios dump that can revive the laptop??
i try every dump here and no change.

This board have 2 bios chip? Send me main bios 16mb.

Ok this may sound very noobish, but how do I do the backup of main bios. For the first one I have used a tool called Universal BIOS backup toolkit and everything I got I pasted in my first post.

Please bear with me, I am new to all things bios related.

P. S. When I ran tool mentioned above as an administrator I first got an error message Can not identify the BIOS. So I went ahead and thicked an empty box in the right top corner and then under custom I chose 8192k, because of the 8gb of ram that is installed in this laptop.

P. S2. Added attachement/ backup with 16384k option chosen

I dont believe Universal BIOS backup toolkit is worked 100%.You need bios programmer any remove bios chip read and save and post here bios dump if you dont have then you need SMC.bin but SMC.bin is not free if you want contact pm.

You must be doing some mistake. Only bios region replacement is enough to remove password. however,if you get late display then clean me is required.
