      The power supply does'nt show any damaged parts and there is voltage 97v
      going to the strings, So If I had to guess...
      It comes down to, is the main board sending the PWM etc. signals to the power supply. You could try heating the large ic under the heatsink on the main board, It could be a bad bga connection on the ic. Without being able to swap out the main or power supply It's hard to guess.

        Hi everyone.
        I have some news about this problem. I've solved it by replacing the main board.
        Many thanks to everybody who helped me, specially @R_J and @budm.
        Can I ask the mods to change the title for this thread to "SOLVED: Sony Bravia KD-65XE7096 turns off with 2 blinks code"?. Also, since it's not a PS problem, this thread fits the most in the "Troubleshooting TVs and Video Sources" section.
        I'll try to fix the faulty main board, but I'll open a new thread for that.
