Re: Asus N76VB identifying 'A5 GNA'

    Hello.

I have this busted A5 GNA (with different number).

Shorting it powers the laptop so test-wise I am confident.

Reading all of the above is kinda confusing, bottom line is it a P or N?

    Picture attached.

Hey guys, I have a similar problem with another mosfet, I would really appreciate it if anyone could help identifying a replacement part. The missing mosfet is the same as the one that is still attached to the motherboard in the picture. A5 GNA 3R0J05

P0903BEA could be a replacement, the number is A5 GNA, the rest (3R0J05) I believe is date code etc.

Cool! "Could be" meaning I can replace it with that one, or maybe it will work?

I have never replaced one, I only checked other sites that seem to recommend it.

                        I ordered this one: P0903bea - P0903 - A5 Gnc - Qfn8, hopefully it will work, I'll update once I solder it in.

for all users that are looking for answer for A5 GNA P or N-channel in Asus K55VD board, i can confirm that the 2 mosfets are a pair of N-channel fet.
No fire after replacement, the notebook works fine
