                              Maybe worth contacting toshiba they may send you out the firmware on a usb stick i beleive this is the number 01246 7780

                                  if your sure its a firmware issue and cant find free one online maybe use these there a good company

                                    Thanks Vince. I'll keep ohms supplies as a last resort. with shipping etc it would be closer to 30e not worth it for this 32 inch. obviously a download

                                        A Vestel 17mb60 v4.1 panel LTA320AP06. I would imagine this combination is used in a variety of makes ie. Nordmende NM3296M4, so it may be worth using one for a different model? I wouldn't mind a dilfferent logo or menu I think the reason it's gone from the toshiba site is because I think the service menu allows tweaking screens etc so their software was probably used on different makes
