![]() HI folks back again after a long time now i know this subwoofers amplifier contains bad caps but all previous research involves only to humming which is documented on here and the caps to replace, my issue is the subwoofer just died dead no issues just kaput!! no power lights nothing.
i only have a digital multimeter to test things but somewhere i had the schematics sent to me from monitor audio and forwarded them on to a chap but never got a response i will desperatley try to dig these out. 240v is present inside. not much to go on at this stage but here is a youtube video guide to a guy repairing bad caps but i have not got no power?? zilch at the refrence points that he shows on the PCB. my pcb amplifier is exact layout https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvXe0bOF_mk |
