Default Having trouble identifying this IC (HP envy laptop mboard)

This IC lies somewhere between the DC-in and battery-in. I'm connecting the power adapter and getting nothing - no lights(at the jack), no power, no nothing. However, this IC is getting very hot. I looked in the markings sticky thread but didn't see anything familiar so I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this component. I've got stacks of motherboards in the shop here, if only I knew what this was maybe I could find a compatible replacement.

Thanks!

It is Texas Instruments p/n TPS51285BRUKT.

Datasheet is attached.

Some good offers on Aliexpress - be 100% sure that the vendor will supply the proper p/n for this replacement.

https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale...psort=1&page=1

They appear to have plenty of stock in Asia.
