    MSI 6340 ver 1.0

My motherboard MSI 6340 Ver 1.0 in my Packard Bell , they are 3 bad cap's nearly the processor AMD Athlon 1000 Mhz.
All 3 have the same capacity :4700uF /6,3V.

I replaced it with 4700uF/16V. And now it works fine.

Out of curiosity, what brand were they?

Replaced capacitors but still no go

I replaced 4x TAYEH 2700uF 6.3v capacitors that had blown their tops but the motherboard is still no go

            What gives?

The PC speaker makes a strange creepy noise (if anyone's seen the movie "The Grudge" you'll know what I'm talking about).

The cpu checks out fine in another motherboard, so does the psu, so does the ram. I've wiped the BIOS settings, but that doesn't help either.

Any suggestions would be a real help!!

            Thanks

Look around the FET's...any scorch marks, sometimes they get so hot that they seperate themselves from the board.
