It's been 9 months since I started this thread about my Black Jack de soldering station by Solder Werks, which is a great tool but it uses cheap tips. So I am asking all you Hakko
808 users how long do your tips last.

I don't have an 808 but they should last a long time if you take care of them. Hakko is not crap. In any case, just buy some spares I guess.

Update six months ago I purchased a Hakko 808 fantastic tool I am still on my first tip
only time I raise the temp is when I am working on a double side board. other times I
lower the temp to #1 setting.
