I have a Mag Product No. LT782S, Model No. 700P. The monitor light turns on and green for about half a second, then the screen goes black but the light stays on and turns orange. As the computer boots up and changes resolutions a few times the screen will turn on at each point after the resolution changes, then after half a second turn back off. If i unplug the video cable and plug it back in it will turn on for another 0.5 seconds and then go black. I have seen a thread on here about replacing the capacitors in another Mag 700P where someone mentioned that another component often fails.
This is my first time attempting to repair a monitor, and I have limited electronics knowledge and soldering experience. I've recapped a motherboard once, and done some other small projects but I'm certainly still a novice. I'm really just looking for any advice here before I buy the replacement capacitors and try to repair this monitor.
I've uploaded a few pictures I took of the circuit boards and the back of the LCD assembly here: https://plus.google.com/photos/11809...Kjy_v-u3sbq_AE
Thanks in advance.
