Were you able to test the DCR and the inductance of the winding before rewinding of that Gate drive transformer? Same wire gauge used for the rewinding?
It may be that rewinding did not come out the same as original so the drive circuit in ICM801 gets hot.

Well ..i used the same wire minus 1 turn for each coil in the same direction as the original.
The wire was fine only one coiil was corroded at the exit point where it was soldered . Beside my efforts winding was not perfectly alligned by hand
I guess this changed a bit the inductance.
I could not measure anything except continuity .

Hey friends , I just came in here, cause I'm fixing this psu, from a friend of mine. I cleaned all the glue which was oxidising many components, a transistor near the main cap, QB802 transistor full of this sticky shit.
I realised RM801 has been heated up and it showed around megohm value, on the schematic says it should be 220ohms , so I replaced just to test with 2 50ohms in parallel , but as soon as I plug everything it starts to heat up in flames.
What could be posibly wrong, should I use some freeze spray to check for the shorte component on either side of RM801? can I inject some voltage?

            thanks!

              RM801 is 0.22 Ohms!
You need to also check both MOSFETs in that section.

Damn bro don't know what the heck went throgh my head so it's almost a plain fuse, 0,22 ohms.. right?

It is used as slo-blo fuse.
