charging Li Ion Batteries via USB on MoBo/Laptop

    Hi guys.
I got myself so obsessed with fast charging reading that in long term it can a lot shorten battery life/capacity.
So I thought why not to charge via USB headers on MoBo or laptop.
Yeah it's painful slow, but in order to preserve battery capacity/health in long term is that a better solution?
After all it charges with less current (1-2 Amps).
I noticed when using genuine charger with my S5e battery now lasts me shorter then before, and I did only 18 charge cycles.
I used fast charging all the time, but I have a bad habit when not using tablet I swtiched it off most of the time it's off,and maybe those devices like more when they are ON then OFF for the health of the battery?
    Maybe there is an issue.
I have OCD so I overthink this too much, sorry.
Can anyone explain me if I'm correct or wrong?

Over charging batteries depends on the charger as long as the batteries do not because warm it should not be an issue however wherever the batteries are made is a very big issue

Chinese made batteries are hit and miss in quality (more often they are a miss )
Korean made are also hit and miss in quality ( about 50/50 is a miss )
Japan made batteries are the best as in quality ( most of the time you get what you pay for )

These are solely my options and are to be taken as such
