    Delco radio stopped working

    I have a Delco radio, Model # 16034753
It's an Am/Fm Cassette with digital display. It came out of a 88 Suburban.
The radio worked fantastic before I took it out of the Suburban.
I asked a friend who's very good at electronics, to see what it would take to eliminate the cassette player and put in an acc feed.
He only opened it up to check for power feeds etc, and what he would need to put in an acc feed.
This radio is going in my daughter's 81 pickup. She said she's going to use Bluetooth accessory through the FM.
    Sorry for long story!
    Here's my problem.
I installed the radio, the display lights up. But all I get for sound is a buzz/ hiss sound at full volume. Both from the radio or cassette.
    Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

No with the vehicle shut off.
You have to put the speaker right up to your ear to hear it.

Probably due to something wrong, try turning on the device again.
