Post ghost image and distortion on LG 22EA53

the monitor is suddenly left with a slightly darker half and an image on hold that is seen in dark colors. after the monitor has been completely turned off and unplugged. When you turn it on it reappears.

What could be the problem ?

Probably someone washed your monitor and the water ran down right into the tab bonds.
