Re: hiiii need bios these desktop motherboard
Moved to appropriate forum. This does not belong in troubleshooting laptops and portable devices.
We won't be able to help you based on that photo, as we can't identify the motherboard. Do you know what brand and model it is? or what brand and model of computer it came out of?Last edited by c_hegge; 09-04-2015, 02:34 AM.I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!
No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

Re: hiiii need bios these desktop motherboard
It's a HP board of some sort. I noted the 775 socket, and did some google image searching to find this:
http://www.ctsestore.com/hp-compaq-s...01-6000pro-sff
which reveals it is the motherboard to this:

Bios is here:

Additional firmware for the intel ME is here:

Note to those playing at home: don't just upload a picture next time!!! This was a fun challenge though.sigpic

Re: hiiii need bios these desktop motherboard
These bios file requests are actually quite annoying IMO. Not only do they usually get posted in the wrong section, but the ID-10-T 'techs' who ask for them clearly have no idea that they are publicly available on the manufacturer's websites (or are just too lazy). It's a waste of our time answering these threads IMO.I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

by glovecapsHello,
I have a Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 (G533QM) that had a dead motherboard (Graphics card dead) and after trying to fix the motherboard with no success, I bit the bullet on a sale for a new motherboard. I ordered a motherboard for the 15 inch model which is the one that I have, and when the motherboard arrived it wasn't for a little while that I saw it was from the 17 inch model.
My question is, can I update the Bios on this G733 motherboard to a G533 Bios.
The reason for wanting to do this is that the keyboard isn't working as it should, and I think this... -
My pc updated bios through Windows Update and I was greeted with BLACK SCREEN WITH CPU FAN MAX SPEED. I don't think there is even a screen signal, because it triggers my monitor for a couple seconds and then the monitor turns off. I tried the other outputs as well.
- I tried clearing bios, resetting bios, removed the CMOS battery, removed m.2 ssd, wifi, and ram. Still black screen with CPU fan blasting.
- I tried using the Lenovo BIOS CD and BIOS USB, but neither worked. At least I couldn't get anything to work.
- I could only locate two chips that look like bios chips. Could someone verify this

by oraganohey all, i did a silly thing and flashed bios to perfectly working board. None of the asus official download bios would work with ez flash. They all gave error saying not supported bios file. I tried using uefi tool to extract it to a bin file but then ez flash wouldnt even recognise it.
So, i used freedos and afudos with the aforementioned bin file i extracted and forced the issue. After bios reprogram, reboot and it was dead. Fans spinning but no post.
i have a bios writer and none of the .cap files from the official site work either. I just get one spin, then off, then all fans...-
