Re: Yamaha RX-V571 No Power, no screen

Ok so now with my meter, PS1 is between 1.1v and 2v and PS2 is changing between 0.3 and 2.8v. It's kind like if the voltages is changing with the relays clicking or not.

    And Q3703 is a stable 3.3v.

So the reset looks ok and not constantly reseting. Are you sure it is just the speaker relays that are turning on and off? there are a lot of relays in this unit.
It's like chasing your tail working on these amps.

On page 95 there are a couple regulators, make sure +3.3S and +3.3M are stable

3.3S and 3.3M are good and stable, as for the relays it is hard to tell.

On page 95, there are a few relay drive lines, TRANS_RY, drives the relay for switching output voltage, SPRY_5CH and SPRY_SB drive the speaker relays, you could check those points to see which relays are being driven to click on/off

You should be able to unplug CB103, plug from the transformer to the outputs, this should isolate the complete output section as a cause of the problem.

            check all the voltage regulators
            12v 13v 5v 3v are all stable

Thank you for the reply, but I've alreadfy checked all the voltages and they are fine. I gave up on this amplifier

Anyone got the DSP firmware for it?
