    static in speakers and limiting inrush current

    I got this amp board
    * https://www.ebay.com/itm/125299680050 (dual TPA3116 amp)
    and i got this boost converter
    * https://www.ebay.com/itm/192032921916 (150W DC-DC Boost Converter)

    i am getting a annoying squeal.static noise out of my speakers

    on a side note turning the volume knob on is tripping OCP/SCP on my PSU, so i need some way to limit the inrush current (the system reboots when the amp is turned on, bios is set to boot on when power is restored)

    the boost converter is powered using 12v and is set to 20v

    would replacing the 4 chong 1000uf 35v caps with UFW1V102MHD would fix the static? what about just using a/some 10W resistors, i have some 5 and 20 ohm ceramic cement resistors on hand, should i replace the caps on the boost converter?

    maybe i can just put a 5 ohm resistor on the 12v feed, i assume the resistor will not blow up with the momentary ~30W load as i assume it would need to heat soak before it would melt or blow like a 0 ohm resistor used as a fuse

    I have attached a document for my power supply

      I started getting some very odd behavior while testing some stuff and either i reversed the input power or one of the caps on the boost converter up and failed, i swapped in my spare and put 3 20 ohm resistors in parallel (should not be able to pull over 24Watts), now i only have a little static when the speakers are not playing audio

      probably should not use both black and white wire when you work with both AC and DC

      same static with external power brick as i get with my psu

        I believe in forgetting the color code as it changes with what project one is doing. Create your own color code maybe with flamboyant color like pink and purple.
