![]() Hi guys. plssssss. HP Pro 3500 Series MT home computer. all USB Ports not working, but 5V Present . i reflow on southbridge but not result .

![]() Hi. It is very possible that the upstream usb controller is damaged due esd surge. Have seen many designs where there is zero protection against such esd events. If you have a free expansion slot, consider to buy a host adapter to supply the usb port function. Otherwise you will need to review the chip that is the usb host controller or is the usb hub. Most likely that is the defective component.

![]() Are the motherboard soldered usb connectors are also not working?
Check / reset bios. Check the usb cable harness that mates with the motherboard. Is it seated correctly? |
