I also would like to thank you guys for the information. Although I'm not a technician, following your instructions, I was able to get the TV fixed no cost. I was able to pull out the T-com and took it to a friend who is a technician and has all the tools. When I explained the problem to him, he told me that by his experience, that was not the problem. He checked the resistor and it was Ok but he change it anyhow, as I asked him.

When I put back thevT-com with basically no hopes at all, Voila!!!, PROBLEM FIXED!

Save a lot of bucks thanks to all of you!

Fantastic thread guys. My Bravia is displaying the same vertical line symptoms have taken out the tcon 324046WHC6LV2.2 and located RT36 (gosh, it is tiny!). Next step will be to get it replaced... I'll let you know how I get on.

Hi,

I also have same problem of multicolor vertical lines on my sony Bravia KLV-32D300A whose T con board is 324046whc6lv2.2. But the Resistor RT36 is showing ok 9.1Kohm.
Can anybody tell what could be the other problem.

Not exactly sure rajeev, did you read post 21, it is strange that his tested ok but apparently was bad, unless there was some kind of testing error.

Could try reseating and or cleaning the contacts of the tcon ribbon and lvds cables with some isoprophyl alcohol, carefully as they can be delicate. Youtube is your friend for how to videos.
