Not so awesome if they replaced with crap though. Looks like nichicon so no probs.

The guy said the caps are the same as on Intel mobo's.
Did the 7volt thing with the processorfan, casefan and powerfan, it's al lot more silent now, especially the fan in the powersupply is a screamer, even at 7 volts it still is making too much noise.
Probably buy a fanless powersupply like this one: http://www.mini-box.com/s.nl/sc.8/ca...it.A/id.417/.f and a C3 processor.

Intel boards use nichicon, rubycon, so that's good news.

EDIT: Dont bother getting a fanless PSU, just swap out the PSU fan for a lower-flow one. You can safdely run the fans at 5v too.

The newly installed caps do look like Nichicon, which would be immeasurably better than your old, bulging, Paul&Art caps. "That's IT" 's service also appears to be very good - probably worthy of it 5-star score on the tweakers.net pricewatch I linked to.

About the fans, it may well be, as Chris said, adequate to run them on 5v - although you will have to make sure this is the case - some fans will not be able to start at this voltage, although they will continue spinning if they are already in motion.

The three recognizeable Nichicons are PS series. Pretty good series, the RiHS-compliant version of the PR series. Not the newest or the lowest impedance, but a good performer.

All 12v DC fans I have, including one rated only down to 10v, start reliably at 5v.
