    Gigabyte R9 390 8GB - identify 2 burnt chips?

    Hello!

I have a VGA card. While I was using the PC, it turned off, restarted, and the lights on my VGA started to blink then it turned off.

I took it apart, but I can't identify the 2 burnt ICs.

Could someone, who has the same (or similiar PCB based) card help me?

See pics for the part numbers. But you'll have to Google for the numbers.
Perhaps try search for "SMD Marking" followed by the numbers on the IC's.

I would guess, the 5 pin chips is an AND gate, of the 74 series logic chips. Pin 5 and 1 end of C101 will probably be directly on 3v3 rail, and pin 2 or 3 is probably gnd. Pin 4 is probably pulled up to 3v3.

The 8pin was probably some PWM or fan controller type chip. The bunch of 1AM chips are 2n3904, they might be making a 1/2 bridge driver for the fan ??

Ok the C23 chip is probably this IC, for the PWM of the fan no doubt.

Now why did they burn out, and did anything else, and will it just happen again if just those parts are placed, IDK
