Hello! I'm locked out of the BIOS on an elitebook 830 g6. What info do we need to be able to unlock it? I see a reference to the bios chip, is it the make and manufacturer or a file i need to access somehow?

you have on the motherboard two bios chips, one of 32MB and another of 16MB..their content must be extracted and posted here ..

HP Elitebook 830 G6 Absolute Comutrace

Hi All,

Wonder if anyone can help me? I have an HP Elitebook 830 G6 which I purchased (legitimately) from an auction (not eBay, so I cannot return it/contact the original owner) which has Absolute Comutrace enabled.

I have contacted Absolute and asked them to remove the remote lock, however they have tried to contact their customer (I guess the original owner of the laptop) but their customer has not replied to their request for permission to remove the remote lock. I have now chased them multiple times.

Does anyone know if there is a way to re-program the BIOS to remove the Absolute Computrace remote lock?

Here is 25q128 & 25q256 bin file. please replace both bins at a time. Hope it will work. fully working file. please do not use one bin and another. use both bin files together. Thank you
