If a cap has the same spec than there woundn't be much difference between the two.
But you forget one thing:
If you want a certain (quiality grade) capacitor, you have to pay a certain amount of money regardles of manufacturer.
If you want a cheapass one you won't get something that great.
If you want a high(est) quality one, you'll have to pay for that...
And you always have the situation where the cap manufacturers don't do everything themselves, they get the electrolyte from an electrolyte manufacturer and the rest from other contractors...
So maybe you shoudn't blame the caps so much and FSP for that shitty design a little more?
The 'V2' version used in the Straight Power E6 for example, looks way better than that one with the cap between secondary heatsink and the coil...
